This is our production logo. We created our logo using the photoshop programme where we researched pictures of "cool pyramid designs" and we came across this image which we deemed suitable for our production logo. This picture was eye catching and we agreed both the colours were vibrant and unique, which differentiates our production amongst other groups.
As we opened the photoshop programme, we had to change the dynamics of the page. We changed the width to 1920 pixels and the height to 1080 pixels, then we began to make our logo. We added a layer so that we were able to insert the pyramid design. When reinserted the image we faced the problem of size. Our image was too small to fit the background. so we had to crop the background in order to fit the image and then we used the pipette tool to capture the background colour on the image and paste it on the background of our logo. The reason why we chose the colours pink, greens, black and white is because they are bright colours and with the contrast from the black made it look more bright and eye catching. Black annotates death and pink annotates love and girly things and considering we are a production made up of girls who create films that include death and thriller scenes.

Thriller movies are known to promote a high level of high suspense, a high level of anticipation, heightened expectation and a nerve-wracking tension. The location is key, as it needs to coincide with the plot. Without an element of stereotypical fear, the audience many not engage in the initial planning of the film. For our thriller opening sequence, we will have to plan the location in accordance with the effectiveness of audience preference. Not all thriller films are set in abandoned houses, haunted houses or buildings, the remaining are set in everyday locations such as cities. We decided it might become too complex and time consuming if we were to set our opening in these locations. Also we may come across difficulties with the background noise when editing. A typical location for our thriller would be a museum. Museums already have a sense of supernatural activity that connote with the location. There are many floors in the museum and this is perfect to stage a chase within the plot of the film. Due to the location of the museum, the sense of unexpectedness and fear would be easily conveyed more after dark.. Most of the famous thriller movies were set in big cities such as New York, an example of a thriller film set her is "Sin City". Thriller films set in cities are more likely to feature an element of action, such as a car chase or a gun fire compared to a film set in a rural area as a city is more densely populated and the audience are more inclined to engage in the movie. Thriller films set in cities are a great way for the audience to empathies with the characters as they are in a familiar surrounding Some thriller films are set on isolated islands which are sometimes fictional, or very rural areas. Films that have been set on a fictional location often include supernatural activity or a supernatural attack on humans. An example of a thriller film similar to this is "Jaws", which was set on a fictional island called Amity. The purpose of a fiction location is to surprise the audience which the type of behaviour there. This is done to make the storyline more believable; if the location was factual, the audience may feel an element of misconduct. Many thriller movies have been set in locations such as the woods. A lot of these films are physiological thrillers, which are made to startle the audience and build up the tension and suspense so the audience enjoys it. Films shot in this type of location are usually dark and eerie which make the film mystical and more intriguing. An example of a psychological thriller filmed in the woods is "The Blair Witch Project". The Woods are seen to be an alarming location as the audience is unconscious of the activity in the woods. This locationmakes thriller more enjoyable as the audience are unsure of what is going to happen next. Films in this location often have a murder or someone goes missing as the main part of the storyline. Many large film institutions produce thriller films, such as Warner Bros and Lionsgate.
